This aluminium rear shock tower is provided as 1 pcs for the Tamiya GF01 touring platform and is intended as an aftermarket replacement to strengthen the rear mounting point. It offers a firmer surface than standard plastic towers for improved consistency.

Fitting is straightforward for most hobbyists: remove the stock rear tower, align the new tower over the mounting holes, and secure using original or compatible hex screws. The part works with standard GF01 rear geometry and does not require chassis modification.

Using an aluminium tower reduces flex where the shocks attach, so changes to springs, damping and anti-roll bar settings translate more directly to vehicle behaviour. That makes it handy for setup sessions and track testing.
