Stiffer front lower-arm mounting

Specifically made for the Tamiya Hornet EVO (58742), this aluminium front lower arm mount plate improves the lower arm mounting interface. The JR-THNE07-LB swaps the standard mounting point for a machined metal plate that delivers a firmer pivot and steadier geometry during setup.

Supplied in a light blue finish, the component is intended as a hop-up or replacement part for model maintenance and tuning tasks. It is a chassis component for model use only and not meant for real vehicle use.

Installation notes: secure the plate to the existing front bulkhead using the original mounting holes; confirm alignment and reuse factory fasteners where suitable. Deburr mating faces, ensure full suspension travel clearance, and keep correct pin and screw orientation when reassembling to preserve intended geometry.

Tuning impact: replacing the stock mount with a rigid plate reduces flex at the lower arm pivot, which can produce crisper steering and altered roll characteristics. Use this change alongside damper, spring, and toe adjustments to achieve your target handling balance.

Because pivot compliance is reduced, expect quicker steering onset and possibly reduced progressive roll. Revisit damper settings and spring rates to rebalance the chassis after fitting.
Small toe and camber tweaks can complement the stiffer mount; run incremental changes and test each revision to pinpoint the best setup for your track conditions.
The plate itself increases local rigidity; check adjacent bulkhead and shock mounting areas for any wear or looseness and address them if you observe unwanted flex.
