7075 Upgrade Wheel Hexes - HOTSHOT II

This is an aftermarket wheel hex set made for the TAMIYA HOTSHOT II platform and supplied as model HS2010. Created as a direct replacement for RC-scale use, the hexes use 7075 aluminium to combine toughness with reduced mass for sharper handling and easier tuning.

Installed on the 1/10 HOTSHOT II, these hexes take the place of worn stock parts at the wheel mounting interface to recover concentricity and alignment. The 7075 alloy is chosen to resist common service loads while helping to keep rotational inertia low.

Fit these hexes by checking clearance on HOTSHOT II hubs and reusing the vehicle's wheel fastening hardware. They are intended for model use only and should be inspected for correct seating before driving.

Packing includes

  • Wheel Hexes - 4pcs

Install the HS2010 7075 hexes to repair wheel interfaces on the HOTSHOT II and keep wheel mounting reliable for tuning and repeatable performance.

No special tools are needed beyond standard hex drivers and your kit's wheel hardware; confirm screw engagement and torque to avoid loosening.
7075 aluminium is strong but inspect mating surfaces and use correct torque; if axle wear is present, address axle issues first to avoid premature wear.
They are designed for hobby and tuning use on the HOTSHOT II; their strength and low mass suit many club and informal competition scenarios.
Regularly check seating, fastener torque and any signs of wear or deformation; clean filings or grit from hub interfaces after off-road runs.
