Designed as an aftermarket replacement, this gun metal aluminum upright fits TAMIYA Hotshot, Bigwig and Boomerang chassis to replace the original plastic component. The machined metal construction strengthens the steering pivot and provides a more secure anchor for linkage hardware during aggressive driving.

The upright is configured for a 5mm long ball connector to match common Tamiya-style linkages. Its primary function is to maintain correct wheel hub and steering link geometry while reducing flex at the upright itself.

Fitment is straightforward: remove the stock plastic upright, transfer the wheel hub and bearings, and install this metal upright. Recheck steering throw and toe after installation and use standard RC hex drivers for the job.

Compatibility is restricted to the TAMIYA Hotshot, Bigwig and Boomerang models referenced in the title, and it is intended for 1/10-scale buggy use and vintage Tamiya upgrades.
