This aluminium damper set is a metal replacement built for Tamiya M03 and M04 1/10 touring car chassis. The anodised light blue bodies offer a tougher option compared to basic stock dampers and are suitable for everyday track hours and setup testing.

The kit is dimensioned to work with the original shock mounts, ball studs and spring retainers on M03, M03M, M03L, M04L and M04M boards, so no body or suspension geometry changes are normally necessary. Swap over by removing the stock dampers, transferring any compatible springs or internals, and fitting the aluminium units with the original hardware.

Tuning remarks: the aluminium housings provide a firmer shell and consistent outside profile, which affects heat shedding and mount stability. Continue to select shock oil, spring rates and preload using your usual method; these bodies do not alter oil class recommendations but can help make adjustments more predictable.
