This kit offers alternative spur and pinion combinations tailored to the Tamiya M05 M-chassis, providing two faster ratio choices than the stock 37/21. The 33/21 and 35/21 ratios aim to increase top speed while requiring matching pinion selection and setup care.

Suggested pinion matches are provided to simplify gearing: for a 37T spur use 16T, 18T or 20T; for a 35T spur use 18T, 20T or 22T; for a 33T spur use 20T, 22T or 24T. These sets let you tune the balance between acceleration and peak speed.
