This RC front suspension arm set is produced for the TAMIYA M05/M06/MF-01X family and replaces the stock plastic arms with CNC aluminium pieces. It aims to raise front stiffness and provide a repeatable steering feel during tuning and race work.
To install on compatible chassis: remove the OEM arms, verify hinge pin placement and ball cup alignment, then secure the aluminium arms to the factory mounting bosses. Use original hardware where suitable, check full travel of the suspension and steering linkages, and confirm there is no binding against the servo horn or linkage rods.
As a tuning aid these arms reduce front flex versus plastic versions, which can tighten steering response and make geometry adjustments like toe and camber more predictable. After fitting, re-check wheel alignment and consider slight shock length or spring rate tweaks if the front end becomes significantly firmer.
Service recommendations: inspect for impact marks after running, ensure hinge pins and ball cups remain within wear limits, and keep pivot interfaces clean and lightly lubricated. Replace damaged fittings and retorque screws during routine checks.
