Derlin piston details

These machined Derlin pistons feature a four-hole pattern tailored for the TAMIYA M06 chassis. The Derlin material reduces friction against the shock shaft and interacts consistently with silicone shock oils, while the quartet of holes manages fluid transfer for a controlled damping feel.

They are intended as direct replacements in standard M06-style shock internals. Installation follows normal shock maintenance: remove the dampers, take out springs and old pistons, fit the Derlin pistons and reassemble using the same oil and seals. Match piston orientation and hole alignment to your front and rear setup preferences.

In tuning practice the 4-hole pistons change the rate oil moves through the piston during both compression and rebound. Use them to refine mid-speed damping and to complement adjustments in oil viscosity and spring rate for consistent handling on lap after lap.
