This aluminium rear hub carrier is manufactured as a direct swap for the TAMIYA M-07 chassis and comes in a gun metal finish. It substitutes the stock plastic carrier to create a firmer mounting area for the rear suspension and hub assembly, which can change rear geometry and handling characteristics on scale touring cars.
Fitting the unit requires disassembly of the rear suspension, removal of the existing carrier, and transfer of wheel hub parts and bearings into the new component. Verify hub alignment and drive component engagement prior to final tightening. Use common small hex drivers and take care not to overtighten hardware to prevent bearing preload or seating issues.
From a tuning perspective, an aluminium carrier increases rear-end stiffness versus plastic, potentially modifying rear traction and steering feel. Use it alongside changes to tyres, dampers, and toe to refine handling in a controlled way.
