The JR-M705-GU aluminium rear suspension arms are an aftermarket hop-up designed for the TAMIYA M-07 chassis. The gun metal aluminium construction gives a firmer mounting platform than standard plastic arms, which helps to reduce unwanted flex during aggressive driving.
Matched to the M-07 geometry, these arms reuse the stock mounting points and hardware for an uncomplicated swap. With reduced compliance at the rear, damping and toe settings will react more predictably, making setup changes easier to tune for lap-to-lap consistency.
Installation tips: remove the wheel, release the rear hub carriers if necessary, and fit the aluminium arms using the original screws and pivot hardware. Verify pin and bearing fit and check full suspension articulation before running the car.
Setup impact: expect a crisper rear feel. You will likely need to adjust shock damping and toe to harmonise with the reduced arm flex and achieve the handling balance you want.
