Overview of the front lower mount

This front lower suspension mount is a purpose-built hop-up for the Tamiya M07 chassis, featuring a 5 degree caster bias to tweak front behaviour. It replaces the stock lower link mount and is intended for racers and tuners making measured geometry changes.

A 5 degree caster adjustment shifts the steering axis to influence both turn-in and high-speed stability. Fit this component when you want finer front-end feedback and stronger self-centering without replacing major suspension parts. The effect is purely through geometry, not by altering drive or braking systems.

Installation is straightforward for anyone familiar with M07 front suspension: remove the factory lower mount, install the hop-up in the same position, and secure following the original assembly steps. Recheck wheel alignment and steering range after installation, then test with incremental setup changes to evaluate corner entry and balance.

Routine inspection is the same as other small RC suspension parts: check fasteners after initial running and look for wear, ensuring steering linkages remain free since caster alters linkage angles.

It is made for the Tamiya M07 layout and fits the front lower mount location on that chassis.
You will notice firmer turn-in and improved straight-line tracking as caster shifts the steering axis toward more self-centering behaviour.
No other hardware is required, but rechecking alignment and running small setup changes is recommended to dial in handling.
