The M07-07A swing shaft is a replacement drivetrain link developed for the TAMIYA M07. As an aftermarket item it changes how the rear transmission and suspension interact across travel, letting you shape how power is delivered under compression and rebound.
Its primary role is to influence transient behaviour and rear grip by changing the momentary drivetrain geometry. Use it as part of a balanced setup process alongside shock rates, ride height and toe settings to find the best handling balance.
Fitment requires access to the rear transmission or diff housing and careful handling of small components; standard hex tools are normally sufficient. Once installed check for adequate clearance and run a manual rotation test before driving. Regular inspections for wear and any play will keep the part performing reliably.
