Aftermarket aluminium front shock mount for Tamiya M1025 Hummer

This single-piece aluminium front shock mount is supplied as a 1pc upgrade for the Tamiya M1025 Hummer RC chassis. It replaces the factory plastic mount to provide a firmer mounting face and to help keep the shock shafts in true alignment under load.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the stock plastic part, test-fit the aluminium mount to verify alignment with the shocks and suspension arms, then fasten using the original mounting points and compatible screws. Take care not to overtighten and check for full suspension clearance through travel before completing the job.

For setup work the aluminium mount reduces variations in shock geometry, aiding repeatable adjustments to spring rates, damping and ride height. This upgrade is intended for RC-scale models in club, recreational or light competitive use.

What is included in the package?

The package contains a single aluminium front damper mount. Mounting hardware is not included unless stated by the seller.

Do I need to modify suspension arms?

Most installs require no suspension arm modification; simply test-fit and check for clearance. If your chassis has prior modifications verify compatibility before final fitment.

Will it make maintenance harder?

Maintenance access remains similar to the stock setup. The metal mount is more durable, so you may find fewer replacements are needed over time.
