This is a 1/35 scale snap-fit plastic assembly kit reproducing the herbivorous dinosaur Fukuisaurus as part of Tamiya's dinosaur offerings.

Known from Early Cretaceous deposits near present-day Fukui in Japan and dated to about 120 million years ago, Fukuisaurus is estimated at about 5.2 meters long. It had a beak-like front jaw and cheek teeth adapted to plant material, and limb proportions consistent with both bipedal and quadrupedal movement. It coexisted with carnivorous species such as Fukuiraptor.

The kit reproduces proportions and skin texture informed by collaboration with the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum and academic consultants. Major parts are designed for snap-fit assembly with Tamiya's CLIC LOC system, so glue is not required for main joins. Detailed surface sculpting, mouth and tooth anatomy are included, along with a display stand, two flat human silhouette figures, a color leaflet and a paper scenery background that can be finished by the modeller.
