This M2 x 8 socket button screw is supplied by 3Racing as a replacement fastener for Tamiya Mini 4WD builds. The gold-plated finish is intended to keep exposed hardware visually consistent while performing a standard fastening role.

The fastener is compatible with usual M2 threaded holes used in body mounts, rollers and accessory brackets. The internal hex drive takes a 2 mm hex key for controlled tightening that reduces the risk of rounding the head.

For secure assembly, check the available thread engagement and add a washer or nut where plastic is thin. This part is a cosmetic and structural fastener and should not be treated as a tuning item affecting handling.
