Aluminium rear guard tailored to TAMIYA frames

The JR-SRB01-BK is an aluminium rear guard for Tamiya Sand Scorcher and Buggy Champ chassis, fitted behind the body shell to reduce rear impact and scuffing during routine bashing and driving.

Constructed in a black-finish aluminium, the unit focuses on practical fitment and strength rather than visual modification. Intended for hobby-grade RC cars, it is a scale accessory suited to protecting and preserving rear body components.

In most cases no body shell modification is required; the guard is designed for standard Sand Scorcher and Buggy Champ mounts. Check clearance around mounting points to be sure.
Aluminium does not rust; the black anodized coating improves surface resistance to wear and minor corrosion, making it suitable for outdoor hobby use.
The additional rear mass is small and usually has negligible effect on traction for casual driving. For precision tuning, test handling before and after fitting to quantify any change.
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent for routine cleaning. Avoid abrasive pads that can damage the anodized finish and check fasteners periodically for tightness.
