Overview for T3-01 steering springs

A compact front steering spring set compatible with the TAMIYA T3-01 DANCING RIDER chassis, designated part number T3001. This kit replaces the factory steering spring to improve wheel self-centre behaviour on model cars.

Crafted from durable spring steel, the coils resist permanent deformation and offer consistent return force over time. Three distinct coil rates are provided so you can tune the steering return to suit different track surfaces and driving styles.

Installation is simple and fits into the original steering assembly location using standard RC tools. Swap springs and run short laps to determine the best setting for handling and responsiveness.

Packing includes

  • Steering Spring - 3pcs

Great to do business with, good communication, items well packaged and delivery times are pretty good. Highly recommended. A+++
Start with the 0.6mm spring as a baseline, then move to 0.5mm or 0.7mm depending on whether you want lighter or stronger return.
Springs influence return force but do not alter mechanical steering lock; check linkage geometry if lock changes occur.
Inspect springs periodically for corrosion or set, and verify they remain seated correctly to prevent binding.
