Will this change handling?

The mount itself is focused on motor stability rather than suspension tuning. Reducing motor movement can create a cleaner drive feel but handling changes are minimal.

Is the red finish durable?

The coloured aluminium mount is more wear resistant than plastic, but like any item it can show chips if subjected to heavy impacts. Inspect after heavy crashes.

Any tips for first fit?

Use thread locker on metal-to-metal screws if you run in high vibration conditions, and recheck screw tightness after the initial runs.
