Precision aluminum main drive shaft for TA01/DF01

This drive shaft assembly is manufactured for Tamiya TA01 and DF01 compatible chassis, finished in gun-metal aluminium. It supplies the rotational link in the drivetrain and is intended for maintenance, repair, and tuning adjustments.

Aluminium construction delivers stable dimensions and improved surface resistance versus softer materials, helping maintain alignment under load. The shaft set includes a joint to accommodate changing angles in the driveline as suspension cycles through travel.

Fitting notes: remove the old shaft using standard service procedures, verify bearings and hubs are serviceable, install the replacement with the joint oriented as the original, and secure using the original hardware or specified equivalents. Spin the drivetrain by hand to check for smooth movement before running the model under power.

Tuning advice: ensure the shaft layout matches your TA01/DF01 drivetrain, apply a small amount of lubricant suited to model drivelines to the joint area, and recheck fastener torque after the first test drive. Periodic inspection of the joint and adjacent ball bearings will keep handling predictable and reduce premature wear.

great to deal with and communication is very good !👍
The stiffer aluminium shaft can sharpen drivetrain feedback compared with plastic parts; expect more direct power transfer and slightly different feel during throttle application.
Check driveline alignment and suspension travel for binding, and retest toe and camber if you notice handling shifts after installation.
Use a light, model-compatible grease to reduce friction without attracting excess dirt; avoid heavy greases that can impede joint movement.
