Rear gearbox cover for tuners

The JR-TA104-LB aluminium rear gear box cover is made to fit the Tamiya TA01, TA02 and DF01 chassis and arrives in a light blue finish. It replaces the original plastic cover to give a stiffer mounting surface for gearbox components and easier access for setup work.

This part is sold as a single replacement and only supports the listed Tamiya models. It uses the chassis original mounting points so it should install without modifying the frame; existing hardware can often be reused when serviceable.

When tuning, note that aluminium changes the stiffness and heat behavior around the gearbox compared with plastic, which may alter how the drivetrain responds during long runs. Recheck gear mesh and fastener tightness after installing the cover to ensure reliable operation.
