TA05 Rear Graphite Shock Tower

This rear shock tower is a graphite upgrade for Tamiya TA05, TA05-IFS and TA05-R chassis, supplied as TA05-03/SG. It focuses on shifting rear shock pick-up geometry and adding stiffness where the shocks mount to influence handling.

Installation is straightforward for experienced builders: the graphite tower replaces the OEM rear shock tower and uses the existing TA05 mounting hardware. Tighten screws evenly to reduce the risk of cracking the graphite, and apply thread-lock only on steel-to-steel joints as your chassis instructions indicate.

As a setup option this tower changes load distribution between the shock mounts and the rear bulkhead, which can affect rotation, rear traction and overall suspension feel. Use it with different shock positions and roll bar setups to tune rear balance.

Care notes: inspect the mounting holes after hard runs for signs of stress and avoid overtightening fasteners. Intended for radio controlled model use only, not for full-size vehicles.
