12mm aluminium adaptor for TA05 chassis

This aluminium 12mm wheel adaptor suits Tamiya TA05 models including TA05, TA05-IFS, TA05-R and TRF-416 and is the Version 2 part providing a +1 degree toe change. It is intended to shift wheel offset and introduce a small toe alteration without changing hub housings or wheel hexes.

Fitting requires basic touring car wheel tools: remove the wheel and any existing adaptor or hex, fit the 12mm adaptor onto the axle/hex interface, then tighten using the original wheel nut or retention hardware. Use the correct hex driver, check that threads engage fully and confirm alignment on a flat surface before track use.

As a tuning piece, the adaptor affects track width and produces a slight positive toe that can refine steering response and corner entry. Apply it as part of measured setup changes when adjusting roll centre, steering bias or overall balance and compare test runs to see the impact.
