Aluminium diff shaft built for TA05 chassis

The TA05-19/LB aluminium differential shaft is intended for Tamiya TA05 1/10 touring car models. It replaces the OEM steel shaft with a machined aluminium unit that helps adjust rotating mass and stiffness as part of drivetrain setup and upkeep.

Fitment applies to TA05, TA05-IFS and TA05-R variants listed in the compatibility section. The shaft installs inside the differential and works with the original gearset and bearings; make sure there is adequate clearance within your differential housing before fitting.

Installation tips: remove and service the differential carrier per the chassis manual, fit the new shaft while checking gear mesh and bearing preload, and use standard model tools such as hex drivers and a small torque driver. Clean mating surfaces and check lubricant paths during reassembly.

Setup impact: an aluminium shaft changes inertia and can produce different diff feedback under throttle and coast, which is useful when adjusting diff oil, spur/pinion ratios, or other drivetrain settings.
