The JR-TA701-GU aluminium front upright knuckle arm set is produced for use on the Tamiya TA07 platform, replacing the standard front upright components. The gun metal finish is applied for a resilient surface and neat appearance.

Functionally the uprights serve as the steering knuckles: they position front hubs, receive the steering linkage and wheel hexes, and influence how the vehicle responds to steering inputs. Moving to aluminium typically decreases steering joint flex and keeps geometry more consistent during repeated use.
