Aluminium front mount for TB04 shocks

This aluminium front damper mount is an aftermarket replacement made for the Tamiya TB04 platform, model TB4028. It replaces the factory front mount to provide a stiffer anchoring point for the shock absorbers on touring car setups.

Function in the chassis: the mount locates the front dampers and channels forces from the shocks into the front bulkhead or tower. An aluminium mount reduces flex at the damper base versus many stock plastic parts, helping to keep damper geometry predictable during travel and while trimming preload, damping and ride height for handling balance.

Fitting notes: the piece is intended for TB04 front damper configurations and fits using the chassis existing hardware. Remove the original mount, install the aluminium unit, torque fasteners evenly and verify damper travel and clearance through the full suspension stroke before regular running.
