Aftermarket aluminium dampers for TB04

The TB4055F/RPBT pair is an aftermarket adjustable spring damper compatible with the Tamiya TB04 chassis. The design pairs aluminium damper bodies with a plastic ball top and is supplied as one pair, intended to update or replace TB04 stock dampers.

These dampers are a tuning upgrade offering click-free height and spring preload adjustability while keeping the TB04 shock mounting geometry unchanged. The plastic ball top provides a reliable connection to the suspension linkage and supports adjustments to ride dynamics and transient behaviour.

Fitment is simple using TB04 shock positions: remove the original dampers, swap springs and retainers if required, mount the TB4055F/RPBT units into the shock towers and suspension arms, then refit ball cups and hardware to the factory points. Confirm smooth shaft movement and full travel after assembly.
