The aluminium rear bulk replaces the stock TB-04 plastic unit and is supplied as a single set intended as a hop-up replacement. Its aim is to provide a firmer anchoring point for rear arms and associated links to limit movement that can upset handling.
Fitting is aimed at hobbyists with routine RC experience: remove the original bulk, move over bearings and link hardware where applicable, and secure the aluminium bulk using the existing chassis fastenings. Use common hex drivers and follow correct torque practice to prevent chassis twist.
In practical tuning the TB4009 adds stability to rear geometry so suspension changes behave more predictably. Expect small but useful differences in responsiveness and traction; take time to re-evaluate shock settings and roll preferences after installation.
