Performance-Focused Aluminum Lower Links

The JR-TFD05-BK kit includes two black aluminum lower suspension arms for front and rear fitment on selected Tamiya buggies. These parts replace the original plastic arms to reduce unwanted flex and make suspension adjustments react more predictably on track.

Supplied as a 2-piece black set, they are intended for use on Thunder Shot, Thunder Dragon, Fire Dragon and Terra Scorcher chassis. As a tuning upgrade the arms change roll stiffness and steering behaviour by stiffening the lower link while maintaining original mounting geometry for easy installation.

Installation notes: fit the arms into the stock lower-arm locations on compatible models. Inspect hinge pins and keepers for wear, and verify alignment after assembly. Do not assume replacement fasteners are included; have the vehicle's existing hardware ready.

Great stuff. Love the upgrades. Wish they did more though, love jazzing up my cars
Yes. Stiffer lower arms reduce flex, which generally tightens steering response and can shift roll characteristics; you may need to retune camber and toe settings.
Possibly. Reduced arm flex can make the chassis feel harsher; adjust shock rebound and spring rates to restore desired body control.
Expect more immediate steering response and reduced mid-corner body roll; tuning anti-roll and diff settings may be needed to balance entry and exit behavior.
These arms keep original mounting dimensions, so they are compatible with typical aftermarket steering blocks that fit the listed Tamiya chassis, but always confirm hole spacing before mixing brands.
