HD Aluminum Front Axle Designed for TAMIYA Tractor Trucks

This silver HD aluminum front axle set is offered as an RC-scale replacement and upgrade for TAMIYA Tractor Trucks. The design prioritizes repeatable fitment and dimensional control at steering linkage and chassis mounting interfaces common on tractor truck kits.

Purpose and effect: replacing the stock plastic axle with aluminum reduces flex under load and helps maintain alignment when tuning toe or caster. The material increases stiffness while remaining straightforward to work with for common hobby adjustments and thread checks.

Fitting notes: the axle is intended to mount to the existing steering knuckles and chassis attachment points used on TAMIYA Tractor Truck assemblies. Confirm the alignment of mounting holes and thread size on your chassis before final installation, and verify steering geometry after fitting to ensure travel and wheel alignment meet your setup targets.

You may find settings behave more predictably after fitting; re-check and fine-tune toe and caster since reduced flex changes the load response of the steering system.
Stiffer axles usually make steering feel firmer but should not negatively impact ride if suspension is tuned appropriately for scale truck use.
No special servo is required, but confirm your servo and linkage can handle the loads expected with a stiffer axle to avoid binding or excessive wear.
Light threadlocker on steel-to-aluminum interfaces is recommended for vibration resistance, but use a removable grade to allow future servicing.
