Urethane impact bumper for TT01

This urethane foam bumper is offered as an RC-scale replacement for Tamiya TT01 chassis. It is intended to absorb low-speed knocks and reduce transmitted forces to body mounts and underlying chassis components on 1/10 scale touring models.

To fit, remove the original bumper and mount the foam piece to the existing bumper bracket or factory mounting points on the TT01. The foam deforms under low-energy contacts and will return toward its shape, so check clearance and make sure the bumper does not rub steering rods or limit suspension articulation when installed.

In use the bumper plays a passive role in impact behaviour, altering initial contact and small rebound during slow collisions. It is ideal for use in practice areas, paddock handling, or light contact scenarios where you want consistent cushioning without changing high-speed aero. Inspect regularly and replace the bumper when compression memory or visible damage occur.
