Uprated 7075 servo mount for TT01

This uprated 7075 aluminium servo mount is an aftermarket replacement for the TAMIYA TT01 servo tray, sold as model TT024N. It swaps the stock plastic bracket for a rigid machined aluminium mount to minimise flex and give a firmer anchorage for the servo.

The assembly comes with the small fastening parts required for installation, such as cap head screws, lock nuts and countersink shims. A more rigid mounting point helps the servo apply steering more directly, which assists consistent handling when changing toe settings or adjusting Ackermann and endpoints.

Fitting advice: the mount uses the TT01 standard servo holes and is secured with the supplied 3x8 cap head screws and 3mm lock nuts; use the countersink shims to correct any slight tray offset. Fit with correct tools and avoid over-torquing to prevent damage to the servo case or thread damage.

Packing includes

  • Servo Mount - 2pcs
  • Grade 12.9 black Cap Head Screws 3x8 - 4pcs
  • 3MM Lock nut - 2pcs
  • 3mm Counter Sink Shims - 4pcs

Compatible Models

  • TAMIYA-TT01
Yes, the 7075 aluminium material and machined construction significantly reduce flex compared with the stock tray.
Four countersink shims are supplied to correct minor spacing so the mount seats correctly against the chassis.
No special tools are needed beyond basic hand tools; use a suitable hex driver and avoid excessive torque when tightening.
