This machined aluminium front C-hub is an upgrade designed for TAMIYA TT-02B and DF-02 1/10-scale chassis. Its light-blue finish and alloy construction replace the softer factory plastic component to provide a firmer steering anchor and better repeatability under load.
Fitting advice: remove the original front C-hub, move across any pins or bushings that are still in good condition, and secure the new alloy hub with the stock hardware. After installation, check kingpin alignment and wheel bearing seating, then fine-tune toe and camber as needed since the new hub may slightly alter geometry. Use normal workshop practice—hand-start screws, then tighten to a controlled torque; apply threadlocker to steel fasteners when required.
Tuning impact: swapping to aluminium increases front-end rigidity, which can reduce flex and stabilise steering inputs during braking and cornering. The effect is generally subtle; combine this part with suspension and alignment adjustments to achieve sharper handling.
