This precision aluminium servo saver and tie rod set upgrades the steering system on Tamiya TT-02 and TT-02B chassis, replacing compliant plastics with a metal assembly for a firmer mechanical interface.
The saver is cut to fit a 25T servo spline common in hobby servos, and the anodised tie rods provide a stiffer linkage that helps maintain steering geometry under load.
Installation follows standard procedures: remove the original saver and linkages, mount the aluminium saver onto the servo output with correct spline orientation, and attach the tie rods to the knuckles and servo horn. Fine-tune lengths to set toe and neutral steering position.
Tuning note: this upgrade changes mechanical stiffness and steering feedback; adjust end points and centring in your radio to avoid over-travel and possible binding.
