Performance Impact of an Aluminum Shock Tower

This is an RC-scale aluminium front/rear shock tower engineered for TAMIYA WR01/WT01 chassis, supplied as 1 pcs in red by Jazrider JR-WR101-RD. It replaces the standard top mount to reduce flex at the shock upper posts and provide a firmer mounting platform than typical plastic towers.

Compatibility remains with the WR01 and WT01 chassis families as stated. The part is for model use only and is not related to any real vehicle parts. Standard installation will normally reuse original mounting screws and shock posts; always confirm factory hole alignment before final tightening to ensure correct geometry.

From a tuning standpoint, fitting an aluminium tower alters load paths into the chassis by stiffening the shock top mount. This tends to stabilise suspension geometry and improve consistency between runs, but note it can also increase vibration feedback into the chassis. Use this part when assessing the effects of reduced top-end flex on your handling balance and shock setup.
