This aluminum front upright set swaps into the front suspension of Tamiya WR02, DT03T and Blitzer Beetle to reduce knuckle flex and give a more direct steering feel. The reduced compliance makes steering responses crisper, especially when combined with firmer front-end settings.
Install by removing the wheel hub and stock upright hardware, transfer bearings and pins into the new uprights, then refit and verify steering geometry and clearance. Only standard hex tools are required for the changeover used on these Tamiya platforms.
For tuning, treat this as a rigidity upgrade: it pairs well with stiffer springs, firmer bushings or altered toe settings to sharpen turn-in. Test small incremental changes to shocks and anti-roll bars to balance the new steering character.
