This alloy front C-hub is produced for the TAMIYA XV-01 platform and supplied as a 1pr replacement, model XV019. It replaces the factory plastic C-hub and is aimed at hobbyists tuning steering and the front suspension on 1/10 scale vehicles.
Made from alloy, the C-hub provides a more rigid mounting point for the steering knuckle and can change steering input feel and suspension behaviour versus stock plastic parts. The unit is shaped to fit the XV-01 front assembly and is sold as a pair (1pr).
Fitting is straightforward for anyone familiar with basic chassis work: remove the original C-hub, move over any bearings or pins needed, and secure the alloy hub with the original mounting hardware. No special tools are supplied and you should torque fasteners to the chassis manufacturer's specifications.
Expect modest changes to steering response and geometry repeatability when an alloy C-hub is used. Include it in wider setup work that looks at alignment, damper settings and tyre choice rather than treating it as a single fix.
