XV-01 Steering Upgrade Details

This aluminium steering assembly fits the Tamiya XV-01 and is supplied under model JR-XV103-BK. It replaces the stock plastic knuckles and linkages with anodized aluminum pieces incorporating bearing seats instead of plain pivot points.

That change reduces mechanical play and helps the steering system respond more predictably to inputs, which supports finer tuning of steering geometry and servo centring on paved setups.

Installation notes: verify the uprights and rack fitment before tightening, confirm correct bearing seating and freedom of rotation, and check clearance with the servo horn. After initial use, re-check fastener torque to ensure everything remains secure.
