These aluminium front knuckle arms are designed for installation on the Tamiya XV-01 chassis and identified as model XV01-13400-LB. They replace the standard front steering knuckles to provide a more rigid mounting point for the hub and steering link.
To fit the parts, remove the wheel and hub carrier, disconnect the steering link from the knuckle, swap in the aluminium knuckles, and reassemble while confirming steering geometry and clearance. Use the same sized screws and spacers noted in your chassis guide and check fit before operation.
Aluminium knuckles are commonly used in tuning to cut down on flex within the steering assembly, delivering a firmer anchor for the wheel hub and steering link. The result is typically steadier steering input and more repeatable handling when adjusting caster and toe.
