Steering column brace for XV-02 PRO

This aftermarket steering column mount is machined from 7075 aluminium for use with the TAMIYA XV-02 PRO chassis. It increases local stiffness around the steering assembly and provides a firmer mounting interface than the OEM plastic mount.

Fitment is simple: remove the stock mount, position the aluminium component on the original points and reuse compatible factory hardware. Use measured torque on fasteners and confirm servo alignment plus steering range after installation. Reducing steering path flex helps deliver steadier inputs for practice or club competition.

Packing includes

  • Steering column mount - 1pcs

Compatible Models

  • TAMIYA-1/10 4WD XV-02 PRO CHASSIS-58707
This part is made for the XV-02 PRO geometry. It may not bolt up to other chassis without modification, so check hole spacing and fitment first.
Basic hand tools are sufficient: hex drivers, torque driver recommended for controlled tightening, and a turnbuckle wrench if steering links need minor adjustment.
Aluminium will resist bending more than plastic, which may transfer greater load to adjacent parts during impacts. Inspect surrounding components after any heavy crash.
