This aluminium upper plate is a scale RC replacement for the Tamiya TB-04, designed to give a firmer rear gearbox mounting and reduce chassis flex when the car is under load. The enhancement focuses on functional support and drivetrain alignment rather than cosmetic changes.
The plate is made to suit TB-04 chassis variants as indicated by the name and works with the stock TB-04 gearbox assembly and mounts. It is a useful tuning part to stabilise gear engagement and drivetrain behaviour during aggressive driving or precise setup work.
Follow normal RC installation practice: check that mounting holes line up, use correct fastener engagement, and verify gear mesh after installation. These installation notes are for RC models only and do not apply to real vehicles.
