Team Associated RC18T/RC18R Aluminium Motor Mount Upgrade RC18-013/BU by 3Racing  [RC18-013/BU]

This aluminium motor mount is a replacement part for Team Associated RC18T and RC18R chassis, supplied under part number RC18-013/BU by 3Racing. Its purpose is to clamp the motor to the chassis while keeping alignment stable during hard running and setup adjustments.

Installation follows standard 1/18 practice: remove the original mount, line up the motor spline with the pinion and spur gear mesh, install the aluminium mount, and confirm motor-to-gear clearance before final tightening. Use thread-lock on metal screws where applicable and ensure the motor shaft is parallel to the spur at final torque.

In tuning, the mount helps preserve a repeatable gear mesh and can reduce motor movement that affects drive efficiency and noise levels. Whenever you change pinion size or gearbox shimming, re-check spur engagement and overall drivetrain response.
