Stiffened caster block for RC18T and RC18R

This aluminum caster block is a direct replacement for the factory plastic unit used on Team Associated RC18T and RC18R chassis, sold as RC18-008/SI. It stiffens the front steering attachment point to help limit deflection without changing suspension geometry.

Fitting is intended for hobbyists comfortable with basic teardown work: remove the stock block, carry across any bearings, seals or spacers, attach the aluminum block to the upright and secure with the original screws. Standard hex tools are sufficient, and accurate torqueing is recommended to avoid binding in the steering system.

Consider the block a tuning upgrade rather than a change to core setup. The extra stiffness can reduce steering flex under load, preserving steering characteristics when you alter caster, camber or toe. Match it with well-serviced bearings and correctly adjusted links for consistent handling improvements.

• After installation, confirm caster and toe are still within your desired setup range.
