This aluminium rear gear box assembly is built as an aftermarket hop-up for the TEAM LOSI MINI-T 2.0 2WD platform. It replaces the rear gear box area parts and works to stabilise the rear differential, shock mounts and knuckle arm anchors while focusing on strength and precise fit instead of cosmetic changes.

Material and machining notes: CNC-machined 6061 T6 aluminium offers greater tensile strength and better heat conduction than common plastic housings, which helps the spur gear and surrounding components manage heat during extended use. Reduced machining tolerances limit unwanted movement around the differential and steering link joints, improving handling predictability when you adjust suspension or differential settings.

Fitting tips: the kit replaces the rear gear box region and includes the stainless fasteners needed for installation. Follow your chassis assembly guide and retain original bearings and shafts unless instructed otherwise. Use proper thread engagement on the supplied screws and do not overtighten to avoid deforming mating surfaces. Confirm differential preload and rear toe after installation as geometry can change handling.
