Role of the front tower

This graphite front shock tower plate is intended as a direct replacement for chassis that use the Team Losi Mini-T SSG tower configuration and call for a graphite-mounted tower. The plate supplies the front shock mounting points and defines the upper geometry used during suspension setup.

Fitting is straightforward on Mini-T SSG pattern cars: remove the factory plate and fit this graphite plate, reusing existing hardware when compatible. When refitting, confirm hole alignment and shock spacing before final torque to avoid preloading or binding in the front suspension.

From a tuning point of view graphite usually increases torsional stiffness compared with many molded plastics, which can change how the front end transmits load into the bulkhead and suspension arms.
