Finned aluminum motor mount upgrade

An aftermarket motor mount plate set for Team Losi SUPER BAJA, supplied as nine pieces that pair a 6061-T6 aluminum plate with stainless fasteners and stabilising shims. This part replaces the OEM motor clamp section to create a firmer mounting surface while the fins help shed heat from the motor during typical running.

The package includes the main mount and hardware sized for the original mounting points so installation is simple using existing motor screw holes and a hex driver. Stainless stabilising shims are included to sit under screw heads and lock the motor more securely, reducing wobble and helping to maintain correct gear mesh.

Heat dissipation is improved by the fin layout which increases surface area for passive cooling, supporting consistent tuning choices such as gearing and ESC thermal awareness.
