Aluminium horn and stainless adjustable tie rod for steering setup

This RC upgrade replaces the standard steering linkage on the Team Losi SUPER BAJA with an aluminium servo horn and a stainless adjustable tie rod that connects the servo arm to the steering knuckle for improved steering control.

The components aim for straightforward fitting: clamp the horn onto the servo spline and turn the tie rod to tune tie length and steering centring. These parts are intended for hobbyist-level installation and handling tweaks.

Included mounting hardware covers the basic assembly so you can install the horn and rod without sourcing extra screws. These items are scale RC parts for model use only.

Do I need to re-centre the servo after fitting?

After installation it is good practice to set the servo to centre and then adjust the tie rod so the wheels track straight at neutral steering.

Is the horn compatible with standard hobby servos?

The horn fits common servo spline patterns used in hobby servos; confirm your servo spline count matches the horn before tightening.

Can this be used for competition running?

These are aftermarket aluminium and stainless parts suitable for club and competitive use where permitted; check event rules regarding aftermarket upgrades.
