How the low mount modifies suspension geometry

The YOKTS2130 low mount plate is an aluminum RC-scale part intended for use with the DRIFT PACKAGE/D-MAX and Team SUZUKI high-grade suspension arms. It relocates the damper bottom mount lower than the factory position so the damper is positioned further down the arm.

Placing the damper bottom lower increases the space available for longer or higher-turn springs, letting you tune for a softer, more compliant setup that suits many drift driving styles. The plate fastens to the damper holes on Team SUZUKI high-grade suspension arms; use the original mounting hardware and verify alignment before tightening bolts to recommended torque values.

Hardware details: the kit includes one left and one right plate to complete a single chassis lower-damper conversion. This is a tuning accessory for RC drift cars and is not intended for full-scale vehicles.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Lowering the damper bottom typically softens initial compliance and can alter roll behavior; it often makes the car easier to initiate and maintain drift by giving more spring travel and a gentler response.
The kit ships with one left and one right plate required for a single chassis conversion. Reuse the original fasteners from the Team SUZUKI high-grade suspension arms for mounting.
Yes. After installing the lower mount you may need to adjust spring preload and damping to restore balance; expect to test and iterate spring rates and shock oil for optimal drift performance.
