The SCW039 rear shock stay is manufactured from 3mm black FRP using CNC machining and functions as an optional top mount for Tomahawk-style Scorpion-series chassis. The plate supplies a firm, repeatable fixing point for the upper ends of rear shocks and is aimed at racers and tuners who require consistent geometry.

This stay should be used with the SCW040 Adjustable Shocks to obtain the correct mounting setup; it is not compatible with the SCW013 HG Shock Set. The product is supplied as a single machined plate with the necessary holes and alignment features; installers typically reuse the original kit's shock hardware and screws for fitment.

When fitted, the machined FRP top mount raises top-end rigidity and alters the link between shock piston travel and chassis motion. Model builders install this component to lock in top mount alignment and ensure the shocks return to the same positions during spring and damping experiments.
