Tower description and fitment

This aftermarket 9pcs aluminium front shock tower is manufactured for the TRAXXAS 1/10 Rustler VXL chassis to provide a solid mounting point for the front shocks and to reinforce nearby body mount areas. The main plate is produced from 6061 T6 aluminium to strike a compromise between low weight and high structural stiffness, with a machined surface that reflects CNC processing.

The part uses a pattern of top mounting holes so you can alter shock angle and mounting height in discrete steps. Those adjustments are useful when tuning front-end behaviour and balance without replacing springs or dampers.

The set contains 9pcs in total: one aluminium tower plus eight stainless steel round head screws in assorted lengths to allow direct replacement on the stock mounting points.

Can I install this tower with standard tools?

Yes. Installation typically requires basic hand tools and the supplied screws to attach the tower to the stock front mounting points of a TRAXXAS 1/10 Rustler VXL.

Is aluminium compatible with aftermarket shock systems?
