This aluminium front and rear magnet body post set is an aftermarket replacement for 1/18 TRAXXAS LaTrax SST models. It secures the polycarbonate body with magnet-style posts to allow quick removal when you need to check batteries or electronics between runs.

The parts focus on body retention and ease of service and are not intended to change chassis setup or handling. Expect neutral handling since the posts simply secure the body without altering suspension or drivetrain geometry.

To fit these posts remove the stock plastic mounts and attach the aluminium posts to the same points, using the vehicle's original clips or fasteners if compatible. Magnet mounting reduces the time spent on body removal, which is useful for race day pitwork and regular maintenance.
